David Hager is the managing partner of Hager Pacific Properties. David oversees property acquisitions, policy-making, corporate strategy and financing. Hager Pacific is guided by an investment philosophy implemented through the acquisition of under-performing, aged or environmentally impacted real estate.HPP owns and manages over one hundred properties throughout the United States and has been involved in the acquisition and disposition of over $3 billion of multifamily, commercial, retail and industrial property since 1980.

 

Dvid j Hager is the founder of the Hager Foundation which is involved in several non-profit organizations, among them:

- Nahal Haredi, the Haredi brigade in the IDF

- Friends of Israel Defense Forces, FIDF

- International Bone Marrow Registry

- Ezer Mi'Zion

- Sulam (Ladder) providing support and educational services for handicapped children

- Educational pre-army preparatory programs (Mechinot)

-Jewish Educational institutions throughout the Greater Los Angeles area

 

David Hager has become one of the most influential figures in advancing and advocating for the integration of the Ultra-Orthodox (Haredi) community into Israeli society. In doing so, Hager has initiated various tracks allowing the integration of Haredi youth in the army, the most famous of which is the NahalHaredi brigade, which was started seventeen years ago in 1999 with thirty soldiers, and gradually grew to become the largest ground combat brigade in the Israeli Defense Forces. Today there are over two thousand Ultra-Orthodox soldiers in the IDF, and more than 10,000 graduates. More than ninety percent of these graduates are successfully employed and have managed to fully integrate into the working world. He has developed programing which fosters the integration of Haredim into the income-producing and business worlds, including a unique program combining military service with high-tech and yeshiva studies guided by rabbinical staff to prepare Haredi soldiers for the challenges they will face.

David and his wife, Judy, live in Los Angeles and have three children and 12 grandchildren
